Since 2003, SOS has been dedicated to the rescue and rehoming of unwanted and abandoned animals in the Baton Rouge area. We rely solely on volunteers and donations to make our organization possible. February 11th - Join us for the winter PetSmart Adoptathon from 10am to 5pm in the Siegen Ln Marketplace. Our cats and dogs will be anxiously waiting for the chance to be adopted and we will be hosting an outdoor fundraiser
with our signature Fried Twinkies, homemade jams, and new spay/neuter t-shirts.
February 29th - Ready to celebrate the Leap Year and help the animals of SOS?? You can do just that by visiting On the Border Restaurant on February 29th between 4 and 10pm. When you present the event flyer (download here) to your server , 10% of your food and non-alcoholic drink order will be donated to SOS. We will also be holding our drawing for the chic, upcycled suitcase pet bed that was donated to us. Come out with your friends and family to enjoy a great dinner.

Spay/Neuter T-Shirts On Sale Now!
 We are excited to release our new t-shirt to celebrate February as Spay/Neuter month.
Fixing your pet is one of the most important things you can do to control pet overpopulation. At SOS, all animals that are adopted from our program
are spay/neutered before adoption. Your donation of $15 for this awesome t-shirt ($17 for XXL) will go towards fixing the animals in our program this year.
Order online ($2.50 s&h) or drop by our adoption events held every Saturday at the PetSmart in the Siegen Ln Marketplace to pick one up.
These are comfortable, tagless, 100% cotton t-shirts. Sizes available are S-XXL. No PayPal account needed to pay with a credit card.
